Let’s Get Ready for School!
Parents and caregivers need to check items off their “back to school list” just as much as students. For August, we welcome ATS’s Christina Abernethy and WCPS’s Amanda Burns to help us do just that!
Christina, Family Support and Community Engagement Specialist will present on how and why to create “All About Me” profiles and vision statements.
Amanda, a PreK Life Skills teacher from Funkstown School for Early Childhood Education, will offer positive tips for communicating effectively and making meaningful progress within IEP meetings.
Space is limited - RSVPs are required by 8/23/19.
ATS is proud to offer support forums for family members to gather support and learn from one another’s experiences, while concurrently providing social engagement groups for children and teens to encourage communication and social skill development.
