Milvia Alvarez began her ATS journey in September 2020 as a Behavior Health Technician. She obtained her RBT certification in May 2021, and was promoted to Lead Registered Behavior Technician for Allegheny County in March 2022. Milvia was born in Cuba and moved to the U.S in 2015. She attended the University of Lafayette at Louisiana (Geaux Cajuns!) from 2017 – 2020 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in sociology. She is currently working towards her master's degree in psychology and will then pursue her BCBA certification. Milvia lives in Allegheny County with her boyfriend and their two dogs, Baloo and Daisy.
