Jessica (Jess) joined Achieving True Self in 2018 with nearly a decade of experience providing in-home services to children on the autism spectrum. In addition to her in-home experience, Jess has also worked in an ABA clinic setting, in the public school system as an Autism Teacher and in a non-public ABA school in Virginia. Jess is extremely passionate about providing individualized care and building meaningful programs that impact the quality of life of those that we service instead of just "checking the boxes." Similarly, she enjoys mentoring and supporting BCBA's to grow to be clinicians that focus not only on outcomes but on the people they serve, which is the core of ATS's mission. Jess does this both by supervising a caseload of clients as well as supporting the BCBA's and RBT's in the greater Baltimore region as the Clinical Director of ABA Services. Jess lives in Harford County, MD with her husband and her "zoo" of animals (Gunner the German Shepherd and Louie, Shakira and Cub the kitties). In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and watch crime shows.
Fun Fact(s) About Jess: Jess initially got into the field of ABA because she thought it would be good for her resume as she worked towards becoming a Deaf Educator, inspired by her younger brother who is deaf. Within her first week of training, she fell in love with the field and immediately changed her career path.
