Suzanne (Suzy) Shumaker joined the ATS team as the Intake and Referral Specialist in December 2020, and in December 2021 was promoted to Intake and Referral Supervisor. She brings with her fourteen years in the medical field with three years serving as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), and eleven years providing support within the intake and referral process. Family is EVERYTHING to Suzy! She is from Western Maryland, has an amazing husband, and has three children.

Fun Fact(s) About Suzy: Suzy once traveled to Nicaragua for a medical mission trip, and she says it was one of the most rewarding things she has ever experienced. She never saw herself sitting in an abandoned building with bats flying around her as she took someone's vitals! Suzy, in her spare time, can be found travelling with her husband (she loves Key West), driving around in her Jeep looking for sunflowers (she also loves sunshine), and making crafts!
